Thakur Junior College was established in 1992,
with the notion of providing an avenue of
learning within easy reach to the growing young
population of Kandivali and its vicinity. Winning
the Best College award in the year 2018- 2019
along with NAAC accredited Grade A (3rd cycle)
in 2016, has proved that it is truly a place to
learn, acknowledge, create dreams and watch
them transform into reality. There has been
tremendous development in the academic, co-
curricular, extracurricular, and sports sectors,
with around 15,000 students on campus.

About BMS
The BMS department started in 2003 with a
student base of 45 has grown successfully to
over 800 students in 2021. We facilitate overall
development of students by providing them with
adequate academic and co-curricular
opportunities on a regular basis. Extensive
research work, case study analysis, workshops,
conferences, summer internships and industrial
visits are a part of 3 year BMS programme. Our
students have been selected in prestigious
institutes like IIM, Sydenham, Symbiosis, MET,
Welingkar etc.
 About Aprtipreneur
Aptipreneur is the flagship event of BMS
department initiated in 2012 to inculcate
management aptitude in the students.
Aptipreneur is an online aptitude test on the
lines of CAT/ CMAT/ CET/ SNAP/ NMAT/ any
other management entrance tests of India /
GMAT followed by Personal Interviews/ IELTS as
applicable. Aptipreneur also has other
management based events like Case-study
Analysis for a Corporate House.

The other events include Treasure Hunt based

on logical analysis, aptitude and quantitative
ability, Squidd Games based on principles of
management of teamwork, planning, organising
and co-ordinating skills. Aptipreneur intends to
identify managerial decisive skills in students.
