Latches
A Latches is a temporary storage device which has two stable states. A latches
output can be change from one state to another by applying appropriate inputs.
Note: (A latches normally has two inputs).

For (mcqs): Two stable states are given below

 Logic high state {Q=1 and Q’=0 }


 Logic low State { Q=0 and Q’=1 }

Types of Latches:

There are four types of latches.

1) NAND GATE based S-R Latches.


2) NOR GATE based S-R Latches.
3) Gates S-R Latches.
4) Gates D Latches.
