 Dear Rector, President, Vice Chancellor, Director,

Greetings from UI GreenMetric!

First and foremost, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to 1050 Universities from 85
Countries for participating in the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings and Network
2022. This proposal presents the information of UI GreenMetric Service Packages 2023.

Since 2021, UI GreenMetric through its Service Package Program has helped its university
members improve their sustainability efforts and enhance their performance in UI GreenMetric
rankings. Having been joined by 30 universities from around the world in its first run, more
universities have joined the Service Package since then. Universities that participate in UI
GreenMetric Package Program can get consultations from UI GreenMetric reviewers regarding
their sustainability efforts and questionnaire fillings and learn the best practices from
universities all around the world.

In 2023, we are continuing our services to participate in our global work in supporting
sustainable universities. Should you have any questions regarding the package, you can arrange
a meeting to further discuss the packages. We would be more than happy to discuss your
contribution to our global partnership to make universities around the world more sustainable.

UI GreenMetric 2023
 Our ranking aims to provide the result of the online survey regarding
the current condition and policies related to the greening of campuses
and sustainability improvement in universities all over the world. It is
expected that by drawing the attention of university leaders and
stakeholders, more attention will be given to global climate change,
clean energy, water conservation, waste recycling, green
transportation, and sustainability education and research. This will
require increased awareness and a change in the behaviour of many if
we are to see it happen.

2. UI GreenMetric Trees Rating
UI GreenMetric Trees Rating is an evaluation system that assesses your university using a rating method.
Universities are awarded a rating of one to five trees + (the highest rating), depending on their
performance within the evaluation. Your institution will receive an overall score, as well as ratings in 6
criteria, which you can use to promote your university globally. You can use the trees rating in your
university publication.
