Attitude refers to your thinking and outlook towards life some people are pessimistic and when they fail
at tasks, they lose hope and give up, whereas others are optimistic and even when there are obstacles and
challenges in life, they do not give up easily. So it is important to have a positive attitude and also work
towards your dreams. To have a positive attitude you need to believe in yourself and the people around you.
You need to believe in yourself and your abilities to succeed and be happy and not give up when things get
tough. It is important to be confident in your ability to achieve your goals and do the things you want to do in
life and not let others see you as a failure or less than what you are capable of being. You can learn how to
stay motivated by having a positive attitude and believing in yourself.

To succeed in life, you need to be determined to reach your goals, despite the setbacks you may face along
the way. Skills and knowledge are important, no doubt, but they can be acquired with time; however, attitude
is something that is inherent in an individual and it is comparatively difficult to change with time.  So, if a
person is hardworking and keen to succeed in life, he will surely enhance his skills to climb higher in life,
which is why attitude is considered more important than aptitude.  On the other hand, an intelligent yet lazy
individual cannot be successful in life because he lacks the motivation and determination to excel. 

Thomas Edison once said, “Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration,” which
is similar to Zig Ziglar’s saying that to succeed in life, hard work and perseverance are extremely
important.  Famous personalities such as Mahatma Gandhi, Thomas Edison, Albert Einstein, and Mother
Teresa were successful in their fields because of their positive attitude when their journeys became
challenging, they did not give up; instead, they kept on trying till they reached their goals.  This is the power
of a positive attitude, which cannot be substituted by aptitude.
