a) Find the equation of the line that passes though the point (2,12) and has slope of −3.
Write the equation in general form and in slope- intercept form.
b) Find the equation of the line that passes through the point (7, −17) and is parallel to
the line with equation 2𝑥 + 3𝑦 − 1 = 0. Write the line in slope- intercept form. (𝑦 =
𝑚𝑥 + 𝑐).

Write an equation for each line:
