• You need to paint a picture of the place in
their mind.

nananahimik na mga armas at artileriya na dati’y
sing-init ng bulkan ang pagbuga, tulad din ng
noo’y bulkang Corregidor; puerto na naging
sandigan at simbolo ng tapang at adhikain ng
bansa na maging malaya.

vs.
Hayaang busugin ang ating mga tiyan ng maalat-alat na
pinakbet ng Ilocos, umuusok na binakol ng Iloilo,
maanghang na laing ng Bikol, humahalimuyak na kanin
mula sa bulubundukin ng Bukidnon, at haguran ang ating
mga lalamunan ng panghimagas na durian at pomelo ng
Davao na sinamahan ng manamis-namis na lambanog ng
Quezon at pagdaka’y mainit at matapang na kapeng
barako ng Batangas.

3. Include characters and dialogue.

Byaheng Vigan tayo ngayon. Busugin ang ating mga
pandama sa mga obra ng pinagsamang Hispaniko at
Asyanong kultura at arkitektura na pinatibay at pinag-
ingatang tulad ng isang yamang di matitibag ng panahon .
Halina’t baybayin ang katedral ng Vigan, mag-iwan ng mga
bakas ng yapak sa batong lansangan ng Plaza Salcedo at
Plaza Burgos. Kalakip ng bato-batong daraanan ang mukha
ng kulturang masisilayan sa mga produktong tulad ng
burnay at pagkaing tulad ng umuusok na sinanglaw. Mga
museo, marami niyan dito, isa na ang Museo ng Crisologo.
Di nga kataka-takang ang Vigan ay nasa tala ng World
Heritage Centre!
