gk: u know what, i'm stuck with a school project and i want you to help me with it.
sb: from my point of view... in the world that we currently live in,technology is a very vital
factor.do you know something .... each day a new software or gadget is being brought into
the market that serves to improve our lives one way or another.
however it is imp to note that despite the fact that technology plays a big role in making our
lives easier,it is not the only role it has.
technology is increasingly growing it's importance in the education sector . the more
technology advances , the more benefits it provides for students at every education level.
sb: OOHH!!!! look at you....you are sitting like watching a boreing speech..its your project
you should definitely come up with some points...
gk: last night i did some research and found something really intresting ,which i'm excited to
share with you
Technology used in the classroom helps students adsorb the material. For example, since
some people are visual learners, projection screens linked to computers can allow students
to see their notes instead of simply listening to a teacher deliver a lecture.
Software can be used to supplement class curriculum. The programs provide study
questions, activities, and even tests and quizzes for a class that can help students continue
1
learning outside the classroom.
Technology has also become part of many curriculums, even outside of computer and
technology classes. Students use computers to create presentations and use the Internet to
research topics for papers and essays.
Students also learn to use the technology available to them in computer and tech classes.
This ensures that after graduation they will be able to use the technology in a work setting,
which may put them ahead of someone who didn't have access to a particular technology or
software in their own school setting.
There are people who may say children are "spoiled" by technology. Instead of being able to
add a long column of numbers in their heads, for example, they turn to a calculator.
Regardless of these arguments, technology is an important part of today's society. By
incorporating it into the classroom, students will be better equipped to transition from the
classroom to the work place .
sb: oo wow...you did a great job...these are really informative..you should add these points
in your project for sure
gk: could you please tell me some pros and cons about this topic...
sb: The internet can provide you with information in any field. No matter what you need to
know, you can easily find that online. You cannot always trust the data and the source, but
you can still use them as educational resources. Students can use the internet without the
assistance of their teachers or parents.Website content and electronic books are regularly
updated, and as a result, learners can easily get current information. Students can learn
2
many things even if they do not attend classes.
It is pretty obvious that learning in the future will be technology-based. Students who are
using technology now will find it easy to compete in the future. That is why students should
be encouraged to collaborate and communicate using digital technology. It is assumed that
technology will play a key role in education in the future.and i must say.....Learning with
technology is much more interesting
There was a time when students had very few tools for learning. But in this age of digital
technology, learners can use a lot of learning tools, including mobile devices, computers,
and other tools.
Due to the availability of all types of information online, many students are now becoming
lazy. They no longer want to study the hard way. Some students even do not attend classes,
mistakenly thinking that everything can be found online. They think that teachers are no
longer necessary.
Technology allows for easier communication between people and that is a definite positive.
That ease of communication also makes cheating more likely.
sb: no mention...even it was quite useful for me...okeyyy ...i gotta go...see you later...bye....
