NARRATIVE

On the fourth day of teaching at their assigned school, the student teacher
arrived punctually at 7:00 am. At 7:15, he attended the flag ceremony, followed
by their first subject in Grade 7 Curie. After a prayer and attendance, he asked
the students to present their activity, which was about the materials that they use
in doing household tasks. Most of the students showed different materials, such
as dustpan, broom, mop, brush, and soft broom, etc. The student teacher gave
each student one minute to explain why it was important to do the activity and
how to use the materials properly. Some students even showed how to clean
their surroundings, such as how to sweep and put the waste in the trashcan. Half
of the students presented their work during the period, while the other half
presented their work on Monday. For the second subject, which was in Grade 8
Aristotle, the student teacher continued the topic, which was about the parts of
the computer and their functions. He explained the different parts of the computer

teaching was the lack of student participation. Despite the student teacher's
enthusiasm for the lesson and his efforts to engage the students, many of them
were not as engaged as he had hoped and were not as eager to participate in
the activities. This could be due to the fact that the student teacher was new to
the school and the students were still adjusting to the new teacher, the student
teacher was teaching multiple subjects at once, which could have caused the
students to become overwhelmed and feel disconnected from the teacher.
Another issue the student teacher encountered on his fourth day of teaching was
the pacing of his lessons. The student teacher was trying to cover multiple topics
in a short amount of time and this could have caused the students to feel rushed
and confused. The student teacher also had to adjust his teaching style to cater
to the individual needs of each student, which could also have caused the pacing
of the lessons to become erratic. The student teacher was also faced with the
challenge of creating a comfortable and engaging learning environment for the
students. Many of the students were shy and reluctant to participate in the
activities, and it was the student teacher's responsibility to make them feel
comfortable and engaged. This could have been difficult for the student teacher
due to his lack of experience and the fact that he was still unfamiliar with the
students. The student teacher faced several challenges on his fourth day of
