 INTRODUCTION

This booklet will demonstrate 3 popular skyscrapers’s information such as the

analysis of circulation, functions and indoor adjacency.Furthermore, the selected
skyscrapers was designed by the architects that having creativity in designing
green buildings and was participated in LEED Green Associate.Therefore, the
reader will experience the knowledge of the architects that trying to arrange the
programs to fits the healthy lifestyle .

VIA 57 WEST / NEW YORK , USA /

VIA 57 WEST is a hybrid between the European perimeter

block and the traditional Manhattan high-rise that creates
a new typology: the “courtscraper”. VIA combines the
advantages of both: the compactness, density, and intimacy
of a classic courtyard building, with the airiness and the
expansive views of a skyscraper.

By keeping three corners of the block low and lifting the north-east corner up towards
its 467-ft peak, the courtyard opens views towards the Hudson River, bringing low western
sun deep into the block and graciously preserving the adjacent tower’s views of the river.
The slope of the building allows for a transition in scale between the low-rise structures to
the south and the high-rise residential towers to the north and west of the site.
The highly visible sloping roof consists of a simple ruled surface perforated by terraces, each
one unique and south-facing.

Information:
Generali Tower is a skyscraper completed in 2018 in Milan, Italy that reaches a height of
177.4m with 43floors and a total floor area of about 147429 square metres. The architect
is Zaha Hadid. Some people called it torre hadid, hadid tower, Lo storto. This building use
modern architecture style. The structure material is concrete.
