(What did you like about the class? Type in your answer here. Response must be in the form of FULL
SENTENCES or up to a PARAGRAPH of 100-150 words)

I really like mythologies ever since I was a kid so studying at the first half of the semester in our class was really
fun for me. A mythology gives you a different expression and it forces your imagination to be more creative or
wild. I also like fairy tales and short stories we read in class. What struck me the most the fairy tale of little
mermaid by Hans since I did not expect the ending wherein the protagonist became a divine creature. Lastly, I
really love the poems you asked us to study. I remember when we discussed the poem of Shakespeare about his
mistress. It was so amusing and absorbing.

Challenges: Aspects of the class that you found challenging or had difficulties in
(Type in your answer here. Response must be in the form of FULL SENTENCES or up to a PARAGRAPH of
100-150 words)

One aspect I found difficult in class was first the understanding of deep words written in the mythologies that we
studied, since it was very different from the mythologies I studied when I was still in elementary school. In terms
of short stories, I really had a hard time at first understanding the true meaning of each sentences. But thanks to
you ms in explaining, I was able to see what the meaning of every story we have read was. In terms of poems, I
think I would say that it was really hard for me to comprehend the message that the author was trying to convey to
its readers.

ONLINE LEARNING: How would you describe your experience of having an online class? What would you do
differently next time?

(Put your responses here)

If I had answer honestly, I think I prefer more taking a class face to face. When you are in classroom, you can
really feel the passion of your profession when he/she is teaching the subject. So, it was kind of hard for me to
adjust to online class since there are lot of unexpected problems one might encounter such as spike in internet
connection, microphone not working, and etc.

What would I do differently maybe is to be more active in an online class. I feel that being more active and taking
the initiative would greatly improve a class session especially if it’s a synchronous one.

DEPTH OF LEARNING: How did your perception of the subject matter (literature) change before and after
taking this class? How can literature be helpful to you in your day to day life?

(Put your responses here. Up to 250 words.)

Well, at first I did not really expected so much from this class but looking back, it really piqued my interest since I
was able to understand and learned lot things from reading short stories, fairy tales, poems, and many more. I
think they subject WORLITE is an essential subject for a college student since by studying things such as poems,
fairy tales, mythologies, and class short stories and by absorbing them you would be able to paint your life with
such beautiful creatures. I remember Robin Williams in his movie Dead Poet Society where he said to his students
that poetry, beauty, romance, love are things that we stay alive for.

Thank you so much for the term ms. I really had fun attending our synchronous sessions. I always looked forward
to your explanation of what was really behind every word and despite having this class online, I can really see
your determination and passion in sharing your thoughts to us. Thank you ms!

P.S. I really enjoyed the poem we studied which is my mistress by Shakespeare 
