- A Palo Festival in
Dances Celebration of the Birth of
Jesus Christ.

The town of Palo in Leyte is

famous and known in celebrating
its festivities and one of which is
the “Patron ha Palo”. It is one of
the 4Ps celebration and festivals
that is pursued by the mayor in the
name of Hon. Remedios Matin L.

This Festival wherein its

composed of the novena mass
(misa-de-gallo) or known as
Simbang gabi to others.

In this festival it showcases the

different activities such as:

 Switchin on of Christmas
lights
 Misa-de-gallo a novena
mass
 Socio-agricultural activities
 Firework displays
 Nightly merry making at
the Palo Pag-ibig Plaza.
 Other related contest in
joined by the different
barangays covered by the
town of Palo.

This festival is a magnet to local

tourism which in turn made the
town prosperous and well known
to both local and national
enthusiasts.
