PROGRAM The Department of Education in line with the National Disaster
DESCRIPTION Risk Reduction Management is one with the advocacy of
preparedness specially earthquake. This calamity is non
predictable so being prepared with it can reduce life
threatening situations. This NSED is under the Third Quarter
having the theme: Ang lindol ay posibleng mangyari anumang
oras kaya’t ngayong balik-eskwela, kaligtasan ng mga bata ay
mahalaga.

OBJECTIVE Preparedness of the school community if an earthquake

happens.
Saving lives from earthquake disaster.

NARRATIVE Gacao Elementary School always abide and follow the program
of the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill mandated by
the Department of Education and the National Disaster Risk
Reduction Management. With this the School answered the
call for the Third Quarter NSED.

Learners and school staff were following the proper DCH way,
which is the Duck, Cover and Hold. With this the school
managed a safe and 95% protocol following during such
scenario.

ACTUAL Objective of the said activity were almost done.

RESULT/OUTPUT
 CHALLENGES Confusion and lack of coordination still exist but in a
ENCOUNTERED manageable manner.
SUSTAINABILITY The result and output of this activity should be kept and be
basis for further and future usage.
