More and more people want to buy clothes, cars and other items from famous brands.
What are the reasons? Do you think it is a positive or negative development?

High end and expensive clothes, cars and other items brands are more well known because
people tend to buy those products from exclusive brands. There are some reasons that
impact this situation, becoming a good and bad development

The major reason why people buy items from famous brands is because the prestige feeling
they will get when they carry the items, boosting their confident. For example, people who
drive Ferrari might enhance their confident on the street not because the skils of driving but
the car they own. This situation also means that people with nice cars have a wealth lives,
which also impacts the condition the economy of the country in a good way because they
definitely pay tax more than other people.

Spending money by buying things from famous brand can also be considered as a negative
development. For example, people aged 20-40 need to save their money to buy
fundamental things like house. However, it will be harder to be done because they spend
the money more to the prestige feeling not the function of the things. Another example of
this case, the article said that millennial struggle to have house because the life style they
have. Not only because the price extremely increase but also they easily follow the trend by
changing new phone every year with the newest product even though they do not need it.

In conclusion, the desire to buy famous brands of things has a positive and negative impacts
for people’s lives.
