The Role of Consumer Patterns in Fashion Kenya

The role of consumers in the fashion market today in Kenya is mainly determined by how

influencers consume certain products could be clothes ,cosmetics or perfumes or shoes .In some

cases prices are considered or determines if a product is worth for a purchase like for example

cosmetics .In other cases promotions and offers on commodities be it either shoes, clothes or

cosmetics pull a large audience and consumers since the prices on most cases have subsidized on

fluctuated.

In the clothing and shoe industry designer clothes are the best sellers especially if certain

celebrity or influencer endorses a certain design, majority of the people are likely to purchase a

certain brand because of a famous public figure’s influence in the market for instance louis

products and great quality hence attracting more consumers.

Another form in which consumers layout or transform the fashion industry is that some certain

brands or quality majors on consumer behavior in that most clients or consumers prefer quality

to quantity and are willing to dig deep into their pockets to get the premium products or even

switch brands so as not to purchase fake products.On this line mostly, consumers prefer organic

products or something they referred to by a close contact or a trustee most especially in the

cosmetic industry.

Lastly Sales promotion like advertising is a major kick off and best method in the Fashion

industry ,in most cases the retailers of various products in the fashion industry, use various

methods to attract their customers such as free sampling, , or competitions for promotional

activities so as to get a product for free or have to pay off at a discounted price
