Communication has greatly improved, from waiting days to receive a letter to having
a reply in a second with just a click. You could send a message to someone across the
world through social media, electronic mail etc. We have obtained the tools for broad
information distribution that have profound effects on the world. Technology now serves as
a platform for human expression, and the internet itself is a vast network that could
motivate and unite people and organizations. It is hardly surprising that better
communication also resulted in increased information dissemination. News is no longer
read in a newspaper or heard from a radio. With the advancements of technology, you can
now see news on television and read news on your cellular phones. With these
advancements there comes a disadvantage. People nowadays believes in everything they see
on the internet. False information and fake news are often shared in social media platforms
which greatly affect peoples knowledge in different aspects.

Global issues require global solutions. Gordon Brown discusses what an image,
empathy, and people can do. He demonstrated that when individuals work together toward
a common objective, they can achieve everything. There is no doubt that a single person
can accomplish great things, but a group can accomplish far more. With technological and
communication breakthroughs, we may connect with anyone on the planet who has the
same purpose. We might form organizations with people who are willing to work for the
benefit of their society. Countries in need may receive assistance. Climate change may be
controlled. No child would be deprived of their life or tortured to death. If only we have the
courage to make a difference.

A single person can make a significant change. If we wanted to, we could all set fire
to the world. As well as building and developing a community in which everyone strives for

progress. Perhaps one day, instead of fighting, everyone will unite together. Perhaps one
day everyone will recognize that we can all be better in order for the world to be best.
