SOLEMN EXPOSITION
Upon the arrival of the procession, while the Blessed Sacrament is placed on the altar, the “O
Salutaris” is sung
O salutaris Hostia,
Quae caeli pandis ostium:
Bella premunt hostilia,
Da robur, fer auxilium.
ADORATION
The following prayers are then said publicly, led by (a) prayer leader/s:
BENEDICTION
Then the priest incenses the Blessed Sacrament, while the “Tantum Ergo” is being sung
Oremus:
Deus qui nobis sub Sacramento mirabili, passionis tuae memoriam reliquisti;
tribue, quaesumus, ita mos Corporis et Sanguinis tui sacra mysteria venerari,
ut redemptionis tuae fructum in nobis iugiter sentiamus. Qui vivis et regnas in
saecula saeculorum.
Amen…
The priest is vested with humeral veil; after which he blesses the people with the Blessed
Sacrament.

REPOSITION
The priest then reposes the Blessed Sacrament, while the following is sung:
