OPERATION
General
The drive of a stepper motor is converted into linear motion NOTE
CAUTION
of the actuator stem by using a spur gear transmission. The
actuator is directly connected with the valve by a nut. The Jumper plugs W2 and W3 are accessible after the cover

The actuators are equipped with an emergency operator 10V

used in case of power failure. Manual operation is only

possible after the power supply is switched off or Y-Signal Override

Cable length and diameter for field mounting: Power Up
· 200m / 1.5mm2 After each power up the actuator extends or retracts the stem
according to the input 1,2 connection.
NOTE
CAUTION If both inputs 1,2 are not connected, the actuator associates
the actual stroke position with the actual Y-signal and moves

In case of wire break at Y-signal input the actuator is moved
Input Signal Range into the 0V signal position (security position).
The range of the analog input signal Y (0 to 10 Vdc or 2 to Accessories
10Vdc) can be changed by changing the position of jumper
plug W2 (see Fig. 1.). The factory set is at 0 to 10 Vdc. Auxiliary switches
The actuators can be equipped on site with an auxiliary

The direction of action (direct or reverse) can be changed by points are adjustable over the full length of the actuator
repositioning the jumper plug W3 (see Fig. 1.). It is set by the stroke. The switches can be used to switch pumps or to
factory such that the stem extends at increasing signal and provide remote indications of any stroke position.
