Business Description

In 2012, Grab launched as an online taxi service in Malaysia under the name "MyTeksi." Initially known as Grab
Taxi, it underwent a rebranding in 2016. Currently, Grab is a business that attempts to give individuals simple
access to transportation when traveling between locations. Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia,
Thailand, Vietnam, and Myanmar are among the countries where this business provides services. The biggest
ride-hailing service in Southeast Asia, Grab, was founded by Anthony Tan. The goal of Grab Company is to
transform South East Asia's taxi business into a more reliable and efficient mode of transportation that everyone
can be proud of. The organization also works on creating alternative forms of payment for drivers and
passengers as well as commuting. Aside from private vehicle services, Grab also provides social carpooling,
motorbike taxis, bus and shuttle services, as well as cycling services. Grab was established on the premise that a
technology business might be profitable and have a lasting influence. It gives those looking for a ride an internet
platform and connects them with the appropriate persons who are willing to provide ride services.

Grab is aiming to launch a student-focused service. It is a service that transports students to and from school
as well as to their homes. Numerous features provided by GrabSchool ensure the safety of pupils, such as text
messages alerting and informing parents of their child's arrival at school and another one when they return
home.
