1. What is your (general) impression about the film?

- The film was good; it was my first time watching this

film and left me in awe. The script is very detailed as
well as the scenes and I know that because I have a book
about Rizal as well his works which is Noli Me Tangere
and El Filibusterismo and I already read it. I love how
the director transfers a scene to another scene. For
example, the part where Rizal and Taviel was having a
quarrel with each other then while they were having
quarrel it was transfer to another scene when Simoun
gives the lamp to the newly wed. Even though I know
Rizal before this film but this film makes adore Rizal
more and it makes proud that he is one of the most well-
known heroes in our country. Overall this film was great
and should be watch by children and youth because in this
film we can clearly see why Rizal is one of our heroes
and why Rizal deserves to be the national hero.

where Andres Bonifacio said these words, “The time has

“Death”. Now we are cutting off our ties with the
oppressive Spaniard! Bring out your cedulas”. Then they
tear the cedulas and they said, “Long live Philippines.
Long Live Jose Rizal”. That part gave me goosebumps it
makes feel the emotion of the Filipino that time, how
eager they are to have their freedom from oppression and
from Spaniards. That is why it is one of the interesting
scenes.
- The Second scene was when Rizal’s mother teaching him to
read. It was in 27:44 to 28:15. For me, I find it
interesting and appealing because I know or we know that
the first teacher to every children is their parents, we
know how to write and read because of them and when I saw
that scene, I already know, this part will be included in
our five interesting scene in the film. I love this scene
because we can see there the closeness and the bound that
Rizal and his mother have.
- The Third scene was when his mother and sisters visit him
for the last moment before he die and when he hav
