    Rizal SA Dapitan is a film about Jose Rizal's exile in Dapitan from 1892 to 1896, where he taught children and helped cure the sick. The student was initially bored by the old theme of the film but grew to understand the plot better by listening carefully. The student was grateful for Rizal's teaching of uneducated students and was awed by his ability to teach and practice medicine simultaneously. By teaching and helping the people of Dapitan, Rizal proved he was a good citizen who had been wronged and made the student feel like they were learning about Philippine history.

    RIZAL SA DAPITAN

    (REACTION PAPER)

    Our teacher in Philippine History told us to watch Rizal SA DAPITAN and he said that we must make
    a reaction paper about this film.

    At first, I felt bored because the film has an old themed so I can't enjoy to watch it at first. But then,
    when I listened carefully the film this is where I start to understand what is the plot of the story. The
    way he teach the children made me feel grateful and thankful because of him a lot of uneducated
    student learned. Also, I feel awed cause he know how to handle teaching and medicine
    simultaneously.

    Rizal is very awesome cause he prove to the people of Dapitan that he is a good citizen and he was
    wronged. He proved them through teaching their children and helping them to cure their illness. Rizal
    is very thoughtful and lovable man. This film makes me feel like I'm back to the history of our country.
    And I felt exited when I finished watching this film, caused I've known what happened to Rizal in
    Dapitan.
