CHAPTER V

SUMMARY, CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION

This chapter presents a summary of findings,

conclusion and recommendations of the study.

Summary

This research study attempted to find out the

effectiveness of modular learning on the study of the

students of Brgy. Danuman West, Sta. Maria, Ilocos Sur.

It specifically answered the following questions:

1.What are the profile of the respondents in terms of

the following;

a.Name (Optional)

b.Age

C.Year level

2. What are the positive effects of modular learning on

the study of the students in Barangay Danuman West, Sta.

Maria, Ilocos Sur?

3.What are the negative effects of modular learning on

the study of the students in Barangay Danuman West, Sta.

Maria, Ilocos Sur?

4.Is there a significant relationship between the profile

of the respondents and the positive and negative effects

of modular learning on the study of the students in

Barangay Danuman West, Sta. Maria, Ilocos Sur?

 There is significant relationship between the

profile of the respondents and the effectiveness of using

modular distance learning on the study of the students of

Brgy.Danuman West, Sta. Maria, Ilocos Sur.

The respondents composes of 20 high school students

of Brgy.Danuman West, Sta. Maria, Ilocos Sur. The

researcher made used of correlational research design.

This research design was used by the researcher because

it looks into the degree of association between

variables. It also considers the extent to which

differences between variables are related to the

differences in another variable

Conclusion

The purpose this study was to investigate the

effectiveness of modular learning on the study of the

students of Brgy. Danuman West, Sta. Maria, Ilocos Sur.

The research study also examined the influence of the

profile of the respondents such as age, and year level.

It was also intended to know if the students excel on

their study using the modular distance learning. It was

found that the majority of the students excel on their

academic performance.
 From the summary, it was concluded that modular

distance learning help a lot to make the students excel

on their academic performances.
