A. Problem Identification
 
1. In my current position, I am concerned about

In a student's hectic schedule, time management can be

extremely beneficial. It ensures that students are well prepared,
organized, and focused in order to manage their daily lives and
finish academic assignments on time. It can lead to increased
success; however, students must learn and practice this skill.
Because lately a lot of students struggling managing their time for
schools, because sometimes they give a little amount of time to
finish their activity. And also they accompanied playing mobile
games and chatting with their chat mates, instead of doing the
tasks given to them.

2. In order to prove my concern or issues, I needed to gather information or data on

 
How proper time management affect the student’s
performance. To start with gathering the needed data we’ll have
first some discussion and understanding with the existing studies
and literature related to our study. In addition, we will be
distributing questionnaires providing scale on how they strongly
agree and disagree in each provided phrase that defines their
vision, insights, and deportment.
 
3. From my experience in using different tools and techniques, I found out that the most
important, urgent, the most doable and relevant problem or issue that I needed to focus on 

To avoid multitasking

Multitasking can hinder your performance. Studies show that when

our brain constantly switching gears to bounce back and forth
 between tasks especially when those tasks are complex and
require our active attention we become less efficient and more
likely to make a mistake.

 
4. I found the following as viable solutions to the problem or issue

Set a time limit to complete a task time constraints for

completing tasks helps you be more focused and efficient.

Because

Making the small extra effort to decide on how much time you
need to allot for each task can also help you recognize potential
problems before they arise.

B. Research Questions and Hypothesis/Assumptions
 
The problem of this action research is stated as follows:

Q1. Is there any effect to the HUMSS Students of Compostela

National High School who have proper time management?
 Q.2 Is there a notable connection between Proper time management
and Student’s Academic Performance? What will be the effects to
students who are not having a proper time management?

Provide a description of the identified problem.  How did the researcher identify the problem?
Describe the persons/students who were affected and the possible causes of the problem.  What
are the goals for improvement?

Effective time management lowers procrastination, boosts

productivity, and enables you to reach greater goals. When you
prioritize tasks and manage your time well, you work more
efficiently and accomplish your objectives more quickly. Many
students nowadays suffer from being a multitasker for they are not
having a proper time management which affects their Academic
Performance in school. As a result of not having a proper time
management students are unable to pass their tasks on time
neither they are answering tasks in a cramming way. Having a
proper time management can help students to do the given tasks
easily because they have enough time to answer. Proper time
management is one of the ways for us to be productive and to keep
going.
 
 
My tentative answers to the problem are
 
In order to have proper time management, student’s must create
a daily planner, give each task a time limit or time frame,
blackout distractions, establish routine and set reminders for all
you tasks.

 
C. Purpose and Significance of the Study
 
This action research is conducted mainly

This will benefit the following 

 
Students- this study will help students understand how their
proper time management affect their Academic Performance.
 Teachers - will learn how to improve their students' time
management and how it affects their academic performance as a
result of this research.

Future researchers- this research will be useful to future

researchers who plan to conduct similar research. This research
will be beneficial because it may contain sources for the mentioned
topic.
