1. Thời gian thi VSTEP Speaking

Bài thi IELTS Speaking giữa giám khảo và thí sinh trong mỗi kỳ thi thực chiến sẽ được diễn ra trong
khoảng 12 phút, trong đó:


o Part 1 – 3 phút.
o Part 2 – 4 phút.
o Part 3 – 5 phút.

VSTEP Speaking Part 2: Phát triển chủ đề – Thí sinh tiến hành phát triển một chủ đề theo sơ đồ
Part 3
tư duy được gợi ý sẵn, sau đó trả lời các câu hỏi follow-up giám khảo đưa ra.

II. Thang điểm VSTEP Speaking

Dưới đây là thang điểm cũng như tổng hợp các tiêu chí đánh giá bài thi Speaking VSTEP của mỗi thí
sinh.

1. Điểm thi VSTEP Speaking

Phần 3 trong bài thi VSTEP dùng để đánh giá việc phản biện và đưa ra lý lẽ

của thí sinh thông qua các câu hỏi mở rộng của chủ đề trong phần 2.

2. Tiêu chí đánh giá bài thi Speaking VSTEP

Điểm của bài thi VSTEP Speaking sẽ tập trung vào 5 tiêu chí quan trọng, cụ thể như sau:


o Từ vựng: Từ vựng được trình bày trong bài thi nói của thí sinh phải liên quan đến chủ đề.
Dùng được nhiều từ trình độ cao thì thí sinh sẽ càng có lợi thế và nhận được đánh giá cao từ
phía giám khảo chấm thi.
o Ngữ pháp: Thí sinh chinh phục được điểm số cơ bản trong tiêu chí này nếu sử dụng chuẩn
chỉnh ngữ pháp tiếng Anh cơ bản và chinh phục được điểm số cao hơn nếu dùng đa dạng ngữ
pháp tiếng Anh như: cách đặt câu câu đơn, câu phức, câu ghép, sử dụng mệnh đề quan hệ…
o Phát âm: Việc phát âm chính xác những âm như : âm đơn, âm lẻ, âm cuối, trọng âm, ngữ
điệu cũng như phát âm càng hoàn thiện thì số điểm của thí sinh sẽ càng cao.
o Mức độ trôi chảy & cách phát triển ý: Biết phát triển, mở rộng ý & trình bày bài thi một
cách trôi chảy, hạn chế tình trạng ngập ngừng hay “ậm ừ” khi nói sẽ giúp thí sinh chinh phục
được điểm số cao.
 o Ý nghĩa nội dung & sự liên kết: Tiêu chí này cũng đánh giá đồng thời với tiêu chí bên trên,
những ý thí sinh trình bày trong bài thi VSTEP Speaking phải liên kết với chủ đề. Bên cạnh
đó, sử dụng ngữ điệu tự nhiên, sử dụng những câu liên kết để kết nối ý sẽ giúp thí sinh chinh

1. Bài thi VSTEP Speaking Part 3 là gì?
Trước khi tìm hiểu kỹ lưỡng về phần thi VSTEP Speaking Part 3 chúng ta hãy cùng định nghĩa

Vậy VSTEP Speaking Part 3 là gì? Đây là phần thi sẽ đánh giá năng lực của thí sinh thông qua việc
phát triển ý tưởng chủ đề nói hay còn gọi là Topic Development. Đối với phần này thí sinh sẽ được
đưa ra chủ đề và bắt đầu suy nghĩ, đưa ra những quan điểm cá nhân hoặc dựa trên những gợi ý được
đưa ra. Dù vậy, hãy nhớ rằng, bạn cần phải tập trung vào chủ đề, tránh lan man và thiếu ý tưởng.

2. Những tiêu chí để đạt điểm cao VSTEP Speaking

Nhiều bạn mong ước được điểm cao VSTEP Speaking nói chung và VSTEP Speaking part 3 nói
riêng nhưng chưa biết các tiêu chí chấm điểm của giám khảo, sau đây sẽ là các tiêu chí sau:


o Từ vựng: Phần trình bày từ vựng trong bài thi nói của thí sinh phải phù hợp với chủ đề. Thí
sinh sẽ có lợi thế hơn và nhận được đánh giá cao từ giám khảo nếu họ sử dụng nhiều từ ngữ
phức tạp và đa dạng hơn.

o Ngữ pháp: Thí sinh có thể đạt điểm cao ở tiêu chí này bằng cách sử dụng nhiều cấu trúc ngữ
pháp tiếng Anh, chẳng hạn như cụm từ ghép, mệnh đề quan hệ, câu đơn và câu phức, v.v.
Ngoài ra bạn còn cần phải sử dụng đúng cấu trúc ngữ pháp cơ bản trước khi sử dụng các ngữ
pháp nâng cao.

o Phát âm: Bạn cần phải phát âm chính xác các âm cơ bản bao gồm âm đơn, âm lẻ và âm
cuối, đặc biệt chú ý trọng âm, ngữ điệu. Bạn càng phát âm đúng nhiều thì điểm của bạn sẽ





VSTEP phải liên quan đến chủ đề để ăn điểm, và tiêu chí này cũng dựa theo những tiêu chí ở
trên. Thí sinh sẽ thành công trong việc đạt điểm thi cao bằng cách sử dụng các câu nối để kết
nối các câu và sử dụng ngữ điệu tự nhiên.

II. Cấu trúc và thời gian thi VSTEP Speaking Part 3

1. Thời gian thi
Thời gian tối đa để hoàn thành phần thi VSTEP Speaking Part 3 là 5 phút. Ngoài ra, thí sinh sẽ có 1
phút để suy nghĩ trước khi trình bày chủ đề được yêu cầu.
