Introduction

The physical appearance of a person has a significant impact on their life, so the researchers

conduct this study to identify the effect of physical attributes of senior high school students of

MAIC towards school marketing, as the school chooses attractive and appealing students as

school representatives when it comes to marketing techniques like posters and exposing their

good looks and physical attributes in order to attract the attention and encourage students who

want to study at the MAIC school. As a result, many students are thinking about and looking at
their physical characteristics. (Science & Technology 2019) One feels quite reassured when

others think them to be highly attractive and like to associate with them. In many circumstances,

appearance is important. According to Dayal you feel better if you look well. Everyone aspires to

look their best. Your personality as a whole is influenced by your physical appearance. A model

needs to appear their best. If a student's physical attributes have an effect on the marketing of the

specific school, we may compare that to an attractive salesperson who can draw interest

immediately away and apply it to MAIC students. (Dayal R. 2021)

Background of the Study

In addressing issues affecting the well-being of those people, community engagement is the

process of working cooperatively with and through groups of people affiliated by geographic

proximity, a shared interest, or similar circumstances. It is a potent tool for bringing about

environmental and behavioral changes that will enhance the health of the community.

According to Bates (2019) Participation in the community can change a community. Fair,

egalitarian, and sustainable outcomes are facilitated by increasing public engagement in projects

that have an impact on society. Any business, government, or person directing projects that will

have an impact on the community must use it as a key decision-making tool.

In this study, we will clearly and properly identify the impacts of community engagement

towards school marketing and also to know how community engagement affect the HUMSS

students and their parents of Mind and Integrity College Inc.


Statement of the Problem

This study aims to identify what are the effects of community engagement among Humanities

students and their parents of Mind and Integrity College Inc.

Specifically, it will seek answers to the following questions:

1. What is the profile of the respondents in terms of:

1.1. Age

1.2. Gender

1.3. Their engagement to the community

2. What are the programs of Mind and Integrity College Inc. that promotes community

engagement?

3. What are the challenges that encountered by Humanities student in conducting Community

Engagement Programs?

4. What are the programs of the Mind and Integrity College Inc. that promotes school marketing?

5. What are the challenges encountered by Humanities students in terms of promoting the

school?

6. What are the impacts of Community towards School marketing as perceived by Humanities

students of Mind and Integrity College Inc.

Significance of the Study


This study intends to inform the readers on how the physical attributes of students of Mind

and Integrity College affect the school's marketing. According to the researchers, the following

will benefit from this study:

School.

The findings of this study will give the school more information about how crucial a student's

physical characteristics are to its marketing initiatives. It could act as a benchmark to improve

the programs for school in terms of the physical looks of the students.

Students. This research will enable the students to understand how their physical characteristics

influence other students' perspectives and how they may support the marketing of MAIC.

Teachers.

The results of this study may allow the teachers to establish and construct a concept of how they

will discipline their students in terms of their physical characteristics.

Researchers.

The findings of this study will help researchers understand how the physical attributes of

students influence school marketing.

Future researchers.

This study can serve as a basis for further research on how necessary the physical attributes of a
student are to the marketing of a school. It can allow researchers to gain a thorough

understanding of this subject and serve as a useful resource for more study in the future.

Scope and Delimitations

This study's scope was limited to all students of Mind and Integrity College Incorporated, and its

primary goal was to identify the factors influencing the physical attributes of senior high school

students at MAIC toward school marketing. This study considered every aspect of the student

that influenced the physical attributes of the given schools, Mind and Integrity College Inc., and

each respondent's answers to the same questionnaires. Furthermore, the current senior high

school student at MAIC College in 2022–2023 was the subject of this study.

Null Hypothesis

There is no significant relationship between the identified marketing strategies and the perceived

effect of physical attributes or school uniform

Definition of Terms

Community Engagement- community engagement is involvement and participation in an

organization for the welfare of the community. (Wikipedia)

Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) - strands equip students with a wide range of

discipline with the use of their experiences and skills into the investigation and inquiry of human
situations by studying its behavior and social changes using empirical, analytical, and critical
