Maylyn Setubal- The simple and pleasant life, which is full of true emotion, is
reflected in the peasant wedding. Although though it seems like a big feast, there
isn't much food on the plates, as is seen upon closer scrutiny. Nonetheless, people
continue to eat happily, with children sucking their fingers while sitting on the
floor and appreciating the uncommonly excellent meal. This brings to mind the
challenging existence of farmers. Presenting all of this to the audience, the painter
appears to be an outsider. It demonstrates that despite challenging circumstances,
humans are always capable of surviving.
Fei Victoria Nullaga- The peasant wedding reflects the ordinary and comfortable
life, which is full of sincere emotion. Peasant Wedding was created in 1567, and
it depicts a village wedding celebration. Pieter Bruegel is recognized for his
paintings that depict country life and people in their natural state. It is a
reflection of a wedding ritual life.
Roanne Mariz Sicabalo- The Peasant Wedding” by Pieter Bruegel the Elder
depicts the bride in front of the green textile wall-hanging, with a paper-crown
hung above her head. She is also wearing a crown on her head, but the Bridegroom
is not identified, and his representation is uncertain. There has been much
conjecture as to the identity of the groom in this painting. He may be the man in
the center of the painting, wearing a dark coat and seen in profile. Or is he against
the far wall, to the right of the bride, eating with a spoon? It has also been
suggested that according to contemporary customs, the groom is not be seated at
the table but serving the food or drink instead. According to another theory, the
groom may not attend the wedding feast per Flemish custom. The feast is in a barn
with two sheaves of grain with a rake, symbolize the harvest and the peasant’s
agricultural life.
Joery Nillos- In the painting as we can see that the title is The Peasant Wedding
which the word "peasant" mean is poor farmer , and you can see that the peasant
wedding is kind of ordinary and comfortable life which gives them full of
emotions. They celebrating the wedding in most modern composition available that
time. But as you can see also eventhough the bride is smiling you can see that she
is not okay because of the absence of the groom. This painting explained and
shows to us that no matter how poor the environment is,people always have the
ability to survive.

Ma. Monica Juridico- This painting tells us about the marriage of poor living in
that time. As people can see the party in this picture is far from glamour, it is a
plain party to announce a couple. Even though it's just a party, it seems like almost
every society in the village attends this memorial party. It shows a strong kinship
with other people.
