Introduction

Background of the Study

The scholarship program is a financial aid provided by the school and other
organizations like our everlasting supportive LGU FAM of the city of ilagan specially to
our beloved city mayor.

Scholarships are now more than just an advatage, they are essential for intertwining
the gap between the rising cost of tuition fees and what you and your family can pay out
of the pocket

Scholarship is for those students who have shown their excellence inside the
classroom, athletes, and for those who have financial problem in life, however there are
some situation receiving scholarship could impact a student’s personal life and time,

As their dedication to their education is more important, there is also a negative impact
on receiving scholarship because there are drawbacks.

Like parents place unreasonably high expectations on their children and put them too
much pressure to maintain a high grade and the fact that students is a lot of stress.

So we researchers is conducting this research for you to be more knowledgeable and


be aware to the impact of implementing scholarships.
Statement of the Problem:

This study is to determine how scholarship programs helps the students to


sustain the education that they desire and recognize the insights of scholars in the city
of ilagan.

1.How implementing enough scholarship affect the lives of the scholars?

2. What will happen if there is enough scholarship in the city of ilagan?

3. What is the negative and positive impact of scholarship programs?

Research objectves:

1. To categorize and assess the effects of the scholarship program on the stem
students at Saint Ferdinand College.
2. To determine the negative and positive effects of the scholarship program
3. To understand the significance of the scholarship program to the faculty at
Saint Ferdinand College.

Assumption of the study:

With the help of this study, Saint Ferdinand College’s grade 11 students in ilagan will
learn a lot about the scholarship program, including how it will affect both them and their
parents.

This study will also help respondents understand the importance of receiving a
scholarship.
Conceptual framework:

Input -students of grade 11 stem of Saint Ferdinand College ilagan campus,

both male and female ages 16-18

Process - Spot the insight of grade 11 stem about scholarship programs.

Output – start a conference for the students for a deeper understanding in scholarship
programs.

Hypothesis

The stated issue and the conceptual model served as the study's guides. Will assess
the claim that:

•The scholarship program offers advantages to all students

. •The scholarship program might assist students who are having financial difficulties.

Significance of study

This essay seeks to ascertain how the scholarship program influences each student.
The research will help the students comprehend how the scholarship program would
support their academic goals.

The following highlights the significance of this study: For students taking part in
the program. The study will benefit the students who are getting financial aid because
its findings can allow them to keep their scholarships. and Intended for guardians or
parents of students receiving scholarships. The results of this study will help parents
better grasp the benefits of the scholarship program for each student. Several people
are able to continue their studies thanks to scholarships. Without assistance from a third
party, students would find it difficult to pay for the expenses.
Scope and delimitations

•The participants in this study are the Grade 11 Secondary School- attending Stem
Students of Saint Ferdinand College Ilagan Campus. They have been given a
scholarship by the mentioned school for the academic year 2022-2023.

• In order to find out how the scholarship recipients feel about it and whether they
perceive it as a useful tool for reducing their expenses in general and, in particular, for
the bright students who can't afford to attend a prestigious university, this study will
interview the scholarship recipients.

Definitions of terms:

The following terms are:

Parents: Refers to the mother and father of students

Expenses: Refers to the school payment

Scholarship Programs: Refers to the program of the scholarship they need.

Respondents: Refers to the person who will receive or have gained to pursue a
scholarship.

Advantages: Refers to what will happen in a negative or positive way.
