WEB BASED EVENT PLATFORM SERVICES

INTRODUCTION

              It has been a great difficulty in event planning for most of the Philippines population.

mostly because the budget has always been short for people in the lower class. as a result, people

save up tons of money just to afford well-known event productions, photographers, caterers, and

so much more. on a bigger issue, average people will spend on event planning more than they

can possibly afford. lastly, they are more properly recognized by the market. because of their

lack of exposure in the public eye, especially on social media platforms

            As the internet keeps on innovating. online shopping platforms are in their prime as they

earn millions in profit every month and they also catered to a wide range of sellers that meets the

needs of a wider range of consumer. With online stores and shops becoming a trend in the

business world, the team researched.about the project and how online stores can affect people’s

buying behavior according to one paper by Dr. Bizwana Bashir, et.al. “ Convenience was another

significant factor, when it comes to online shopping, people preffered to stay at home and shop

as opposed to going out and browsing through stores”.

          Events are always happening everywhere and every time and with on-demand services

being a trend, the team saw an opportunity to develop a web-based platform that will help

anyone that is planning to make an event and anyone that want to offer their services to make the

event happen.
 STATEMENT OF THE OBJECTIVE

General Objective. The main objective of this research is to provide a wide array of events
people that are easily accessed on one platform.

To create a platform that makes event By providing categorized and organized

corresponding price range.

To provide a wide price range that favors By conducting surveys and interview.

Specific Objective. In order to make an appropriate Web-based Event Management Supplier-

Client platform and to achieve the general objectives, this case study would seek the following
specific objective:

1. Develop an User friendly Web –based Event Management for all kinds of event.

2. Evaluate the developed system in terms of:

The study would be a web based application that cater its users Nation Wide. The project website

In developing an Web based system, two components are required and these are the
software and hardware. The main system will be build up by using Microsoft Visual
Studio 2022 and SQL for creating and managing databases. Tables 1.0,2.0,3.0 will
elaborate the technologies which have been used to develop the system.

 SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

As of now there websites dedicated only to a single specific event however, none of

which offers the client multiple events and third party suppliers and event services. The project

would be significant to those who either wants to set up an event or offer their event services.

With the project website, it will provide a faster way for the client on finding a supplier

or event services in the client’s liking and have it scheduled on a day the user demands    as long

it is well within the time allowance the services allows.

Consumers / Target Market. This research helps them have an easier way of planning

events just by using a singular platforms.

Events People. This research helps them have equal exposure to the public eye and have

equal growth of business.

Researchers. the researcher’s will be able to gain knowledge about how the system

works in events planning and Booking.

Future Reserchers. It should serve as reference and tool to future researchers working

on similar subject.
