    Underline and highlight

    For example SS have a text, have them underline the verbs

    Might then after give another text and hightlight irregular verbs

    Use questions to guide them to the rules

    SPOT THE UNGRAMATICAL SENTENCES

    SS are presented with some sentences and spot the ungrammatical sentences
    LISTEN AND RAISE YOUR HAND

    For example SS listen to a tape and raise their hand each time they here ‘of’ / third person
    ‘s’ / ‘s contraction for is and has etc

    SS can then do a additional exercise of underlining all the TL in the script
