Essential Drugs Job Circular 2022 requirements are as follows:

• The candidate must have passed B.Sc, M.Sc, M.D., D.M., Engg, Pharm D or equivalent from a
recognized university. With a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate for General/OBC candidates and 45%
marks for SC/ST candidates.

• A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is required.

• Applicants must have at least two years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

• They should have excellent communication skills and be able to work well with colleagues.

• Conducts an initial assessment of patient’s drug therapy; provides direction to pharmacy staff on
medication selection, dosage adjustment, and side effects.

• Advises patients on drug therapy and disease prevention.

• Develops an individualized treatment plan in collaboration with other health care professionals.

• Prepares prescription orders for administration to patients or prescribes drugs for self-administration
by patients at home or in ambulatory settings.

• Evaluate the efficacy of prescriptions prescribed by other health care professionals; reviews
information from laboratory tests, and report results to physicians as appropriate.

• Administers medications using appropriate techniques. Such as injections, intravenous infusion,

inhalation through a nebulizer, suppository insertion, transdermal patch application.
