My Career Goals

Despite my initial interest in medicine, being a teacher’s assistant for the past three years

has shown me that my future lies with education, though not in the classroom. Rather, I will

work behind the scenes as an Occupational Therapist, helping children master the skills they

need to succeed in school and at home for the rest of their lives. Due to financial limitations, I

work a full-time job while also attending CCBC Online as a part-time student. After I complete

my prerequisite coursework, I plan to Transfer to Towson University where I will earn my

bachelor's in psychology and apply to Towson’s occupational therapy master’s program.

Although working a full-time job elongates my academic journey, I am confident that with hard

work and dedication, I will reach my career goal.
