Career Goals

Ultimately my career goals include getting into the nursing program here at CCBC and

becoming a registered nurse. With this title I hope to become a forensic nurse because my

ultimate dream job was to be a medical examiner, but I understand my limits and don’t think I

would be able to have done another 10 years of schooling after high school. If not a forensic

nurse, then being a trauma nurse would be my next goal. I understand that in trauma cases

decisions need to be made instantaneously and the patients you are taking care of are in extreme

cases, and I feel that I am an individual who thrives under pressure, so I could succeed in that

environment. As a forensic nurse I hope to assist in autopsy’s because I think it could be very

fulfilling to be discovering unknown answers to medical question, or even assisting in crimes,

which seems very fulfilling.
