The rights of man and of the citizen.

1.. Men are born and remain free and equal in rights. Social distinctions can only be

founded on common utility.

All men have equal rights regardless of race, religion or where they

come from.

4. Freedom consists in being able to do everything that does not cause harm to

others. The exercise of the natural rights of each man has no other limits than

those that limit the enjoyment of the same rights to the other members of society.

These limits can only be limited by law.

6. The law is an expression of the will of the community. All citizens have the right

to collaborate in their training, either personally or through their representatives. It

must be the same for everyone, be it to protect or to punish. All citizens being

equal before her, all are equally eligible for all honors, placements and jobs,

according to their different capacities, without any other distinction than that

created by their virtues and knowledge.

All people have the right and the duty to participate in community

activities, this is done by voting


10. No man should be disturbed by reason of his opinions, not even by his religious

ideas, provided that manifesting them does not cause disturbances of the public

order established by law.

Every man can express his religious opinions as long as he does not cause

problems for other individuals in society

15. The company has the right to ask all its agents for accounts of its

administration.

Members of any community are fully entitled to demand clear accounts from

their administration from the authorities.
