nels and other civil engineering structures is an

Our mobile sprayers are the result of more than
40 years of experience in underground works
and of close partnerships with tunnelling and
mining customers across the globe. All Spraymec
models are available with an electro- or diesel-
hydraulic configuration and an optional on-board

SPRAYMEC 8100 VC
The Spraymec 8100 VC is a self-propelled mobile
electro-hydraulic concrete sprayer with a com­
pact design to optimize concrete spraying in
medium-sized tunnels and projects with varying
tunnel cross sections from 15 to 140 square
metres. Offering a maximum vertical spraying
reach of 14 metres, it delivers efficient spraying
performance from one set-up in tunnels up to
10.3 metres high and 16 metres wide. Four-wheel
drive and steering make this mobile sprayer
easy to manoeuvre in tunnels with a width of
5.2 metres or more.
Built for high performance sprayed concrete
applications, the Spraymec 8100 VC is equipped
with the latest state-of-the-art spraying process
control system, the NorSmart. Developed for
concrete sprayers, this control system ensures
efficient, productive and high-quality concrete
spraying with functions like:

The Spraymec 8100 VC features a Normet con­
crete spraying pump with a pumping capacity up
to 30 m3/h and an on-board compressor with a
capacity of 12 m3/min for efficient and high qual­
ity sprayed concrete application.
The upper part of the concrete hopper can be
swung away for easy cleaning and main­tenance
of the concrete cylinders. An additional concrete
pipe support arm at the forepart of the concrete
pipeline also facilitates and speeds up cleaning.
With its revolutionary walk-through design, the
Spraymec 8100 VC gives the service technician
full and easy access to all service points on the
sprayer. This innovative new layout also allows
two 1,000 litre acceler­ator tanks, a 400 litre
water tank and a large tool and storage box to
be easily fitted on the sprayer together with
other optional equipment.

SPRAYMEC 9150 WP AND WPC

The Spraymec 9150 WP and WPC combine con­

crete spraying and various lifting applications in
one machine offering a 15 metre spraying reach
for optimized spraying in large-profile tunnels
and caverns. With their centre-articulated carrier
and compact design, these mobile sprayers are
capable of spraying in tunnels with a cross sec­
tion of only 12 square metres. Both models are
self-propelled mobile electro-hydraulic units.

The Spraymec 9150 WPC is equipped with an on-

board compressor with a capacity of 10 m3/min,
while the Spraymec 9150 WP requires an external
pneumatic air supply.

The Spraymec 9150 WP and WPC feature a

concrete pump with a pumping capacity up to
33 m3/h and the Nordoser 900 accelerator
dosing system for accurate dosage.

As the operator sits on the working platform,

reaching up to 8.8 metres, he is never more than
5.4 metres away from the nozzle. This gives him
excellent visual control of the spraying pro­­cess,
regardless of the boom and nozzle positions.

The oper­ator’s working platform, measuring

1.7 metres square, offers a 500 kilogramme
load capacity for lifting workers and tools. This
is an ideal feature for typical lifting applications,
such as a variety of measuring, surveying and
sampling operations.

SPRAYMEC SF 050
Consisting of three mobile concrete sprayers, the
Spraymec SF 050 series has been engineered to
optimize concrete spraying in small and medium
cross-section tunnels in underground mining.
Offering a maximum ver­tical spraying reach of
9.3 metres, this series is equipped with the well-
known Normet SB 500 mining spraying boom
for efficient spraying from one set-up in tunnels
up to six metres high and ten metres wide.
The Spraymec SF 050 D is a diesel-hydraulic unit,
while the Spraymec SF 050 V is an electro-
hydraul­ic unit and the Spraymec SF 050 DV has
both diesel and electrically driven hydraulics. All
three mobile sprayers require an external pneu­
matic air supply for concrete spraying.
All Spraymec SF 050 models feature a concrete
spraying pump with a pumping capacity up to
25 m3/h and the latest version of the Nordoser
accelerator dosing system with manual or elec­
tronic control (dosing synchronized with concrete
output). They also have an on-board stainless
steel accelerator tank with a 500 litre capacity.
The operator can control the spraying process
via cable or, optionally, via radio remote control.
With four-wheel drive, an articulated frame and
a width of only 1.8 metres, all models in the
Spraymec SF 050 series are easy to manoeuvre
in narrow mining tunnels and to turn into a
four metre wide drift.

and/or heating. Both the canopy and cab are
FOPS/ROPS certified.

SPRAYMEC 1050 WPC
The Spraymec 1050 WPC is a self-propelled
mobile electro-hydraulic concrete sprayer
designed to optimize concrete spraying in small
and medium cross-section tunnels in under­
ground mining. Offering a maximum vertical
spraying reach of 9.5 metres, this unit is equipped
with the well-known Normet SB 500 mining
spraying boom for efficient spraying from one
set-up in tunnels up to 6.5 metres high and
ten metres wide.

This sprayer features a concrete spraying pump
with a maximum pumping capacity of 33 m3/h
and the latest version of the Nordoser acceler­
ator dosing system with electronic control (dos­
ing synchronized with concrete output). It also
has an on-board stainless steel accelerator tank
with a 600 litre capacity and an on-board com­
pressor with a capacity of 10 m3/min. The oper­
ator can control the spraying process via cable
or, optionally, via radio remote control.

Logistics are an integral part of a successful sprayed concrete operation: getting
the concrete from the batching plant to the working face as safely and effectively
as possible.
Normet offers a wide range of mobile concrete
transport equipment to meet the mining and tun­
nelling industry’s needs for improved safety and
higher productivity.
UTIMEC TRANSMIXERS
Designed for transporting concrete in under­
ground mines and tunnels, all our Utimec trans­
mixers have a remixing drum with adjustable
rotation from 0 to 13 rpm, clockwise and counter-
clockwise. Their standard drum lift feature allows
the concrete discharge height to be adjusted
flexibly so that concrete can be discharged from
the drum to the Spraymec’s hopper even if it is
not at the same angle or on the same level as
the transmixer.

The FOPS and ROPS certified two-man canopy,
or optionally an enclosed cab, provides a super­
ior view and comfortable conditions for the
driver and his assistant. For easy cleaning, all
transmixers can be fitted with an optional high
pressure washer with a water tank and a form oil
spraying system with a tank.
Utimec MF 500 Transmixer
With a concrete payload of 4.4 cubic metres, this
transmixer is designed for transporting concrete
in underground mines and tunnels where the
tramming height is 2.4 metres or more. The
power­ful water-cooled turbocharged 120 kilowatt
Tier 3 approved engine ensures clean and effi­
cient oper­ation and gives a maximum speed of
5 km/h fully loaded up 1:7 tunnel gradients and of
25 km/h on the flat.
Utimec LF 500 Transmixer
This model also offers a concrete payload of
4.4 cubic metres. With its small 12.00-20 series
tyres, its tramming height is only 2.4 metres. The
powerful water-cooled turbocharged 155 kilo­watt
Tier 3 approved engine ensures clean and effi­
cient operation and gives a maximum speed of
9 km/h fully loaded up 1:7 tunnel gradients and
of 16 km/h on the flat.

UTIMEC LF 600 AGITATOR

Offering a concrete payload of six cubic metres,

the Utimec LF 600 Agitator features a nine cubic
metre tilting concrete drum with adjustable rota­
tion from 0 to 13 rpm, clockwise and counter-
clockwise, for efficient remixing of the concrete
during transport. The Utimec LF 600 Agitator

with a tramming height of 3.3 metres or more.

The powerful water-cooled turbocharged 155 kilo­

watt Tier 3 engine ensures clean and efficient
operation and gives a maximum speed of 8 km/h

km/h on the flat. The FOPS and ROPS certified
two-man canopy, or optionally an enclosed cab,
provides a superior view and comfortable con­
ditions for the driver and his assistant.
Utimec LF 600 Transmixer

With a concrete payload of 5.6 cubic metres,

this model is designed for transporting concrete
in underground mines and tunnels where the
tramming height is 2.6 metres or more. Its water-
cooled turbocharged 155 kilowatt Tier 3 approved
engine ensures clean and efficient operation and
gives a maximum speed of 8 km/h fully loaded
up 1:7 tunnel gradients and of 18 km/h on the flat.

VARIOMEC MF 050 M

Normet’s modular Variomec concept offers inter­

changeable work modules, including a remixer kit
for concrete transport. Fitted with the remixer
kit, the Variomec MF 050 M has a concrete pay­
load of 4.4 cubic metres and a tramming height
of 2.55 metres. The rotation of the remixer drum
is adjustable from 0 to 13 rpm, clockwise and
counterclockwise.

REMIXER CASSETTE

Our Multimec slide-on/slide-off cassette system

also features a series of different cassettes for
remixing and transporting concrete.

The cassette with a remixer drum offering a con­

crete payload of 4.2 cubic metres can be used
on the Multimec 1000 carrier, while the 2.5 cubic
metre version can be used on either the Multi­
mec 1000 or the smaller Multimec 6600 carrier.
Both cassettes have an adjustable rotation speed
from 0 to 13 rpm, clockwise and counterclock­
wise. Multimec carriers need to be fitted with an
optional hydraulic system in order to operate the
remixer drum.

The Multimec 1000 can tram in tunnels with a

height of 2.65 metres or more with the larger
concrete remixer cassette or of 2.5 metres with
the smaller cassette. Equipped with the smaller
cassette, the Multimec 6600 has a tramming
height of 2.4 metres.
