• Captain Janeway is seated in her captain’s chair, looking intently at the
viewscreen. Tuvok, Chakotay, and Seven of Nine are also on the bridge.

• JANEWAY
• Status report.
•
• TUVOX
• All systems are functioning normally, Captain.
•
• CHAKOTAY
• We’re still on course for our next destination.
•
• SEVEN OF NINE
• However, I have detected an unusual energy signature on our long-range
sensors. It appears to be coming from a nearby planet.
•
• JANEWAY
• On screen.
•
• The viewscreen changes to show a planet with a diverse landscape and
various wildlife roaming freely. Suddenly, a group of space tanks resembling
panthers appear on screen, racing across the landscape.
•
• JANEWAY
• What is that?
•
• SEVEN OF NINE
• It appears to be a species native to the planet. They have developed
advanced technology, including these panther-like tanks.

• JANEWAY
• Hail them. Let’s see if they’re friendly.
•
• The viewscreen changes to show a group of humanoid creatures, led by a
regal-looking leader.
•
• JANEWAY
• This is Captain Janeway of the USS Voyager. We come in peace.
•
• LEADER
• Greetings, Captain. I am Queen Kassandra of the Pantherians. What brings
you to our planet?

• JANEWAY
• We detected an unusual energy signature coming from your planet. We
were curious to investigate.
•
• LEADER
• Ah, yes. We have been developing a new power source that will
revolutionize our technology. However, it appears that there have been
some unintended side effects.
•
• CHAKOTAY
• What kind of side effects?
•
• LEADER
• Our new power source has attracted the attention of a rival species known
as the Snakeheads. They have launched an attack on us, seeking to steal our
technology.
•
• JANEWAY
• Can we help you defend against them?
•
• LEADER
• We would be most grateful for your assistance, Captain.
•
• The away team, consisting of Janeway, Chakotay, Seven of Nine, and a few
other crew members, beams down to the planet. They quickly realize that
the Snakeheads are a formidable opponent, with advanced weaponry and
military tactics.
•
• As they work to defend the Pantherians, they encounter numerous
challenges – from stealthy ambushes to full-scale battles. But with their
Starfleet training and quick thinking, they are eventually able to turn the
tide of the battle and drive off the Snakeheads.
•
• Back on the ship, Janeway is reflecting on the experience.
•
• JANEWAY
• It’s amazing how different species can develop such unique technologies and
ways of life. But in the end, we’re all just trying to survive and thrive in this
vast universe.

• The camera pulls back to show the Pantherians and the Voyager crew
exchanging friendly farewells.
