1. Yes, for example, some people may argue that certain behaviors or practices are "natural"
because they are based on human nature or are in line with human biology. Others may
argue that certain behaviors or practices are "natural" because they are in accordance with
the natural world or the natural order of things. These approaches to the concept of
"natural" can be compared to the theory of Aquinas, a medieval philosopher who believed
that God's design for the natural world was good and that human beings should strive to
live in harmony with it. According to Aquinas, natural law is the law of God and is based on
the nature of things and on what is good for human beings.

2. Some examples of human laws that may be seen as violating the natural law by some
people might include laws that allow for discrimination or injustice, laws that permit
harmful or unethical practices, or laws that do not respect the inherent value and dignity
of all human beings. For example, if natural law is understood as being based on the idea
that human beings should act in ways that are good for them and for the common good,
then a law that permits harmful or unethical practices could be seen as violating the natural
law. Lastly, whether a particular human law is seen as violating the natural law may depend
on how the natural law is understood and applied, as well as on the values and priorities
of the person evaluating the law.

3. For Aquinas, the term "natural" referred to something that is in accordance with the nature
or design of a thing. In the context of natural law, this meant that certain behaviors or
practices were considered "natural" because they were in line with the way that God had
designed the world and the way that human beings should live in it. Aquinas believed that
the natural law was universal and that it applied to all people, regardless of their culture
or background. Aquinas provided a meaning for the word "natural" that emphasized the
idea that certain behaviors or practices were in accordance with the natural order of things
and were based on what was good for human beings.
