First thing you should be checking

Star 1 and Star 2 difference: Star 1 has 1 new letter per lesson. Star 2 as a

vowel and consonant combination / blend per lesson.

Moon 1 Reading and Phonics alternates every lesson. Moon 2 does not have reading every lesson. (Moon 2 books are

different to Moon1, they are more similar to Planet 1 Books: Let's Smile and My Phonics Reading - see next few slides.)

Planet 2 is the same as Planet 1. There is a bigger writing focus in Planet 2.

You will notice Sun level has a Galaxy style Class Structure and they use the Galaxy

Operation Plan. Sun is a B track level only. The class structures will change each book

(Book B1, B2 & B3).

Sun uses the same books as Star 1:

Little Phonics 1 and 2.

Sun Objective is a quick review of

the alphabet. It is for new students

who are too old for Orbit level but

have no alphabet knowledge. This

level is to get them up to speed

before they join Mercury in Galaxy.
