In this unit, communication was thought and its fundamentals.

It was thought that communication is a

process of interaction between two or more people using verbal and non-verbal communication. These
people could be the speaker or the receiver of the message. This message can mean or has a purpose to
inform, persuade and entertain the receiver.

Communication can exist in four context; written, verbal, non-verbal and virtual. A journal, newspaper
and letter can be an example of a written communication. It uses text or words to convey or transmit
message or communication. A verbal communication is a type of communication where two or more
people are transmitting information face-to-face. Non-verbal communication is used to emphasize or
convey message using voice or tone, body language, personal space, and personal appearance. Visual is
a type of communication which uses images, chart logos, graphs and maps.

A process of communication start off from the source, or the speaker who want to send or transmit a
message. The message is the information or data that the source wanted to transmit. Encoding was used
to as the process of transferring the message. The method of delivering a message is the channel. After
the message was delivered, the receiver would decode the message to interpret what was the source
want to inform. The reciever is the receiptient who are needed so that the information will be able to be
transmitted. After decoding the message the reciever may gave off his/her feedback, reaction, or
response to the sender. The context is the ciscumstance where the transmission of message takes place.
In context they may be a barries, it is factor that affects the communication process.

There are two types of communication process, the one-way and two-way communication process. A
one-way communication is where there is a linear way of transmitting a message. It has a limitation
because once the message was transmit there are no response or feedback from the receiver.
Therefore, this type of communication is only to inform, persuade or command. The next type of
communication process is the two-way communication. This is where feedback is included. It's like a
cycle where the sender will be able to know if the message was conveyed correctly.

In communication it is important to follow ethics to have a better communication and limit

misunderstanding or unwanted negative impact. Uphold integrity even if other is not, respect different
perspective and privacy, be observant to freedom of expression, promote access to communication, be
open-minded and develop sense of accountability.

Communication is one of the most important aspects of globalization because it allows people from all
over the world to interact with each other and share ideas and information with each other. In this
century, it is easier, faster and smoother for us to communicate throughout the world because of the
fourth industrial revolution. ......
