Introduction
Quran is a perfect code of
conduct for life which was
revealed to Prophet
Muhammad. Quran has variety
of issues and problems
discussed in it, including
punishment that were given by
Allah to nations. Today, the topic
of discussion is Surah Nuh, as
by the name it tells that is about
the massenger Hazrat Nuh and
his nation. This surah is the 71st
surah of Quran, contains 28
verses in total and it was
revealed in mecca.

2. Major Theme(s)
This surah deals with the
fundamenta quranic teachings
of Allah's relation with his
created world, Allah's reltion
with his Prophets and Tauhid.
This surah in a breif way tells us
how Allah commanded, in verse
1-4, Hazrat Nuh to preach his
people about righteousness. In
verse 5-9 he adresses Allah
about him telling his people
about Allah, and how his people
didn't listen to him and went
more astray, and how they shut
there brains when hazrat nuh
tried to tell them about Allah.
Verse 10-20 tells about Allahs
atributes and Allah wisdom ie
that Allah is the provider, all that
is in the heavens and the earths
are the creations of Allah and
the sun and moon are in
between the seven heavens:
how Allah created man on the
world and how he can take all
his things back. From verse
21-25 Hazrat nuh asks Allah to
make the world free of
evildoers. Im verse 26-28 hazrat
nuh asks for forgiveness for His
belivers and the demolishing of
non believers.
3. Importance of Surah

This surah holds alot of

importance in the
way of Muslims as it guides a
person to the right path and tells
us about Allah anger when he is
disobeyed. It has many other
principles but the ones I chose
are: Punishment by Allah ,
Creations of Allah , Allah's
commands.

Ÿ Punishment by Allah
A beliver should be afraid of
Allah's punishments as Allah is
very merciful but when his anger
shows upon a nation, the
punishment for the disbelievers is
unbearable. Those who want to
live there lives according to Allah
are scared by the anger of Allah
and try to gain as much mercy of
Allah as they can by asking for
forgiveness. Surah Nuh says:
saying, "Seek your Lord’s
forgiveness, ˹for˺ He is truly Most
Forgiving."

Ÿ Creations of Allah.
Allah surely has created the
heavens and the earths.
Heavens are the belief of ghaib.
In todays life it strengthens our
belief of the creations of Allah
and tells us how we were made
by Allah only and how easy was
it for Him. This further creats
taqwa in our heart. Allah
says,"Allah ˹alone˺ caused
you to grow from the earth
like a plant."

Ÿ Allah's commands

Allah (SWT) gave Nuh (AS) the

order to construct an ark with a
few Muslims. They obeyed His
instructions, which ultimately
enabled them to survive the
catastrophe. It means that we
should follow Allah's command
or else we suffer from the
consequences as the surah
says,"So because of their
sins, they were drowned, then
admitted into the Fire. And
they found none to help them
against Allah."
4. Conclusion:

To conclude, One's faith will

grow as a result of reciting this
Surah. If the enemy hinders a
good deed, with the help of this
Surah, he will stumble
backward.

Surah Nuh is particularly

efficient at boosting faith when
recited. It informs us that we
were made of earth and that
when we pass away, we will
return to dust.
