 The Cardo Design Shop is preparing for their first bulk orders, and they need our
help! With a price of 150 P a shirt, plus 100 P (250) if printed, we need to figure
out the price of the common bulk orders!

 Provide A Solution For The Following.

I. Your first responsibility at Cardo Design Shirts is to write a variable expression
that could be used to determine how much to charge a customer for any number
of shirts.

- T-shirt (a1) = 150 P

Printed T-shirt (a2) = (150+100) = 250 P

II. As your second task, you have to make a chart that shows how much a customer
would be charged for various numbers of shirts. Make a chart that includes the
cost of up to 100 shirts.

100 x a1 = ?
100 x 150 = 15,000 P

100 x a2 = ?
100 x (150+100) = 2,500 P

I. How much should Cardo Design Shirts charge for 150 shirts? How much
should they charge for 750 shirts? Explain how you determined your answers.

150 x a1 = ?
150 x 150 = 22,500 P
150 x a2 = ?
150 x (150+100) = 37,500 P
2nd Page: Performance Tas in General Mathematics

750 x a1 = ?
750 x 150 = 112,500 P
750 x a2 = ?
750 x (150+100) = 187,500 P

 I got the price by multiplying the amount of t-shirts to be sold to the initial prices
of the shirts; 150 pesos for one and 250 with a design.

II. If a customer wanted to know how many shirts they could order for 3,000,
what would you say? Explain how you figured this out.

3000 / a1 = ?
3000 / 150 = 20 T-shirts

3000 / a2 = ?
3000 / (150+100) = 12 Printed T-shirts

 With 3000 P, a customer can buy 20 plain t-shirts, and 12 printed t-shirts. We got
this by dividing the money to be spent with the prices of the shirts.

III. Custom T-Shirts (other company) charge a one-time fee of 200 to set up the
design plus 180 for each printed. How will their prices compare to the Cardo
Design Shirts’ prices? Explain.

 There price for a normal shirt is higher than ours by 50 P, and with a printed
design they are up by 130 P! we know this difference by subtracting our price
with theirs!
