- Định nghĩa: Question tags (câu hỏi đuôi) là một câu hỏi ngắn nằm đằng sau mệnh đề chính.
- Chức năng: Sử dụng khi người nói muốn xác minh xem thông tin trong mệnh đề chính là đúng hay không.
- Công thức chung:
Mệnh đề chính khẳng định, trợ động từ viết tắt dạng phủ định + P?
Mệnh đề chính phủ định, trợ động từ dạng khẳng định + P?
*Trong đó: P = Pronoun: Đại từ he/she/it/I/we/they/you

2. “Like” as a preposition (sử dụng “like” như một trạng từ)

- Khi sử dụng như trạng từ, “like” mang nghĩa giống, dùng để diễn tả sự tương tự.
Ví dụ: She looks a bit like Queen Victoria. (Trông bà ấy hơi giống Nữ Hoàng Victoria.)
He wore a hat like mine. (Anh ta đội mũ giống mũ của tôi.)
