1. Why do people dance?


➢ People like to dance because it offers them a creative outlet for their emotions.

2. What are the health benefits of dance?


➢ Improved condition of your heart and lungs.
➢ Increased muscular strength, endurance and motor fitness.
➢ Increased aerobic fitness.
➢ Improved muscle tone and strength.
➢ Weight management.
➢ Stronger bones and reduced risk of osteoporosis.
➢ Better coordination, agility and flexibility.

3. What are the basic natural movements or skills applied in the dance?
➢ Skills such as jumping, skipping, galloping, rolling, balancing, throwing, dodging.

4. Which of the dance genre do you enjoy and love most? Why?
➢ I prefer Ballet, because I am able to dance in more precise movements easier than in
tap, jazz, or hip hop. Pop and lock is a nice technique as well, and I prefer to dance this.
Watching others dance to Ballet is amazing as well. In ballet, you are telling a story with
you body, expressing feelings in movement. If you are in tune, you can feel this
exchange. Also, music used for ballet is soulful and you can listen to it with not only your
ears, but also you heart.
EVALUATION:

a. Time: Slow, Fast, Smooth


➢ Timing is the key to any dance. Our action depends with the rhythm or beat of the
music.
a. Space: side, medium, straight
➢ We use the entire space around us when we dance, To show variation and movements
well we need have enough space.

c. Energy: Big, strong, Sharp

> It refers to the force of an action. It is the physical energy that drives and characterized
the movement.
