LEARNING STANDARDS : 1.1.1 Understand independently the main ideas in extended
texts on a wide range on familiar topics
2.1.1 Explain simple content on familiar topics from what
they read and hear.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES : By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:
1. understand independently the main ideas in the
conversation
2. explain simple content from the conversation

ACTIVITIES: i) PRE-LESSON : 1.Pupils are asked to fill in the bubble map /circle map on
the given mini whiteboard on the use of computer. (group
work of 4)
2.Pupils are asked to share their findings to the class.
*Any new information from other groups’ list can be added
to their list.

ii) LESSON DEVELOPMENT : 1. Pupils are asked to response to Task A questions by

sharing with their group’s members. Allow discussion
time. (1 minute)
2. Pupils are asked to listen to a phone conversation
between Wayne and his father. (How to send a picture
through email)
3. Pupils are asked to answer Task B questions
4. Pupils are asked to listen again to the conversation and
and answer True of False statements in Task C.
4. Then pupils are asked to check their answers with their
partners and teacher.

iii) POST-LESSON : Pupils are asked to share with their partners what they have
learned today
