SUBTOPIC: Guidelines for writing a good paragraph
Putting the paragraph together to form a coherent paragraph.
The little girl lost her way in the mountains. She became nervous and began to cry. As she began
walking, she saw a dim light from afar and suddenly a cottage. The little girl became relief and
went towards it. When she reached, she was welcomed by a grandpa and grandma. She told them
the story. She stayed there all night and was assisted next day to her own home

Comprehension
1. According to the passage, rainfalls are formed when warm seas encourage moist air to
rise and form deep clouds.
2. The name El Nino means “boy” in Spanish. It describes the shifting of warm water and
wet climate from the western and eastern Pacific and the reversal of the trade winds.
3. El Nino takes one to two years to develop full strength.
4. Australia, Borneo and Indonesia on the western side of the Pacific suffer drought.
