The Agrarian Reform

Assessment

1. Relate the concept of the agrarian reform. (answer in 50 words).

 Agrarian reform is a set of measures aimed at redistribution, ownership and


productive use of land, a government policy to boost country’s agricultural
activity. The measures that make up agrarian reform are economic, political,
legislative and social, to promote distribution/productivity of large trucks of land
belonging to group of people.

2. In your own idea, how can the government attain the goals of the agrarian reform?
Explain in 30-45 words.

 By abolishing large landed property and feudal production systems, the rural
population should be appeased and integrated into society, this would contribute
to the political stability of the country. In the social sector, agrarian reforms aim at
reducing inequalities in income, wealth and living.

3. Why is there a need for an agrarian reform? Explain in 50 – 60 words.

 The agrarian reform contributed to relieve the unemployment pressure and to


increase agricultural production and productivity, although it could not prevent a
massive exodus of rural population from the mountains and the most marginal
areas.

1. Explain in an essay form or make a video about your own understanding about the
agrarian reform.

 Agrarian reform in the Philippines seeks to solve the centuries-old problem of


landlessness in rural areas. Agrarian Reform means the redistribution of lands,
regardless of crops or fruits produced to farmers and regular farmworkers who are
landless, irrespective of tendril arrangement, to include the totality of factors and
support services designed to lift the economic status of the beneficiaries and all
other. Hence, agrarian reform refers not only to a redistribution of land, which
had led to smaller farms but also the provision of infrastructure.

Give your reflection or insight to the lesson in 40-50 words.

COMPREHENSIVE AGRARIAN REFORM PROGRAM for a long period of time, Philippine


land was owned by the private sectors. This started during the Spanish regime when
the land was primarily owned by the large landlords and the friars. The Philippine
farmers found it hard to acquire land during that time.

Assignment: What is constitution and its importance?.

 A constitution establish by the government to emphasize the three branches of the


government, the legislative, executive and the judiciary. It ensures that those who make
decisions on behalf of the public fairly represent public opinion. It also sets out the ways in
which those who exercise power may be held accountable to the people they serve.
