The Physical Fitness Program

Discuss the following:

1. Differentiate muscular strength and muscular endurance.

Muscular strength is one's ability to carry heavy weights or wield force as opposed to resistance.
Muscular endurance is one's ability to perform muscular tasks for prolonged periods of time.

2. Explain the difference between speed and agility.

Speed is defined as the ability to move the body in one direction as fast as possible. Agility is the
ability to accelerate, decelerate, stabilize, and quickly change directions with proper posture.

3. Why physical fitness testing is important?

Physical fitness testing is important ,to see fitness level, determine what fitness exercise will
improve your fitness level, set target heart rate for each day work out and to stay fit, feel better and live
longer.

4. Why is there a need to be honest in revealing the results of the physical fitness testing?

In order to know your health condition and what must do to improve it.

5. Why medical clearance is required before undergoing physical fitness testing?


This provides sufficient time for corrective or preventive measures to be acted upon if a medical
or physical condition is detected

Take a video of yourself doing the (9) different Physical Fitness activities and send it in google
classroom.
