The Veil Removed: A Reflection

The Holy Eucharist is somehow considered as a powerful tool that strengthens our
spiritual being. It creates a connection that bring us closer to Christ in which when we
embrace him, a symbol of our spiritual bread of life and cup of hope is bestowed upon
us providing us with strength, purity, and nourished soul. We are taken up into a close
union with him through sharing of the body and blood of Jesus that we join in the
passion, death and its resurrection.
The video really demonstrates on how the Holy Eucharist represents its meaning in
an ideal and realistic way on demonstrating how holy they symbolize in every aspect.
The concept really inspires me in a way that it convinced me to connect with Christ and
worship him to the fullest as I watch the short film showing cold shivers and tears in
myself. It demonstrates that the Eucharist offers important nourishment for spiritual
growth. It keeps us distinct from sin by strengthening us in charity, and it binds us
together in every manner in a sense of unity. As the bread and wine we receive at
communion become the body and blood of Jesus, it becomes the bread and body itself
through transubstantiation, which wipes away our past venial sins, fills our hearts and
mind with grace, and gives us a promise of future glory.
The unity of all those who believe in Jesus is not only demonstrated but also
achieved in this sacrament. As our Lord pulls us closer to himself, he draws us closer to
one another and presents us with his body and blood, as well as his soul and divinity in
a real and tangible way. That is why we must appreciate, learn, and worship Christ, who
instituted the sacrament of the Holy Eucharist to be able to provide grace by us and
show how great his love really is. In exchange, we must express our gratitude for the
grace we receive by extending his presence to others. A sacrament that promotes love
in every human being in a word full of harmony in God’s plan.
