We are pleased to invite you to participate in a regional dialogue (part 1 and part 2) on the concepts
and mechanisms of financial sustainability of community-led responses in Asia and the Pacific.

The objectives of this regional dialogue are as follows:

1 Develop a common understanding of the status, concepts and mechanisms of financial sustainability
of community-led responses, including innovative approaches

2 Examine social contracting mechanisms and share country experiences of enablers and barriers to
social contracting in Asia and the Pacific

3 Introduce opportunities to mobilize support to gradually build financial sustainability of community-led


responses

4 Promote South-to-South collaboration on financial sustainability by facilitating exchange of


experiences across countries

The first part of the regional dialogue will focus on mechanisms and concepts of financial sustainability of
community-led responses, while the second part will propose a deep dive on social contracting and will
present opportunities to mobilize support to establish social contracting mechanisms.
