General Instructions: Answer the following in your own words.

1. What are the most important aspects for a viewer or audience to consider when
deriving meaning from artwork?

 These days, most people look at art online rather than experience it in person. Even if
they see it in person, you can't always be there to talk about it. As a result, the best way
to make sure viewers understand your art is to provide written introductions or
explanations online as well as whenever and wherever you show your work. This writing
works on your behalf no matter how or where people come across your art. You can
write either about your art in general, about specific series or bodies of work, or about
individual pieces (assuming they each have their own stories). The information you
provide might include your artist statement, your statement in combination with a brief
explanation of the particular series or body of work in question, and if necessary, or a
brief description or information about each piece.

2. How does improvisation relate to the artwork's distinctive quality?

 Improvisation can be defined as doing something without prior preparation. There is a

decision to act upon something that may not necessarily be planned. For some artists,
infusing spontaneity and improvisation adds up to the totality of the work of art. The
unexpectedness of the changes brought about by improvisation makes the artwork to
have a distinctive quality that creates its individuality and identity.

3. What inspires artists to appropriate artwork?

 Arts inspire passion, action and lives. Whether serious, playful, nonsensical, wierd or
altogether absurd, dissecting how art inspires isn't something you can ask casually. But
the artist did.
