PROCEDURES: CUTTING DEPARTMENT:

1. Cut three 1 ft paracord and one 2 ft wax thread paracord for each color (black, white, blue, and
pink). CREATING DEPARTMENT 1. Tape the two 1 ft. paracord on its end.
2. Then fold it into two, to find the middle of the paracords.
3. After that, grab 1 piece of 2 ft. paracord. The paracord goes under the middle string and you need
the same length of thread on each side.
4. Start with the left side, bring the thread over the middle one to the right side leaving behind a small
loop. Then you take the right thread, this one will go over the previous left thread or paracord in a
downwards motion and under the middle string, and lastly brought it through the loop.
5. And then, do it the same on the other way around starting with the right thread.
6. Repeat this process until you get 2 inches knot.
7. After, cut the thread near the macramé and use fire to lightly melt the ends to secure in place. 8.
Do the same procedure on the other side of the two 1 ft. paracord.
9. After doing it, we will make a macramé knot again as a lock of the bracelet.
10. For the final step, put 1 magical pendant in the middle of the bracelet using jump ring.

PACKAGING DEPARTMENT

Crowy was formed in September of 2022, originally composed of 4 members, namely: Mary
Rose Mirano, Claire D. Mercado, Gaiel Gabriel Padilla, and Lilian Garcia Fredeluces. but later, we
welcomed two new members into the Crowy Group, Sim Zausa, and Prince Payawal.
The name "Crowy" was based on the name of the avian "crow" and was chosen as it embodies
our core value, to be resourceful and creative with the materials we have at hand. In the beginning,
we seriously considered entering the vast market of DIY products. However, we quickly stumbled
upon the vast array of choices in said market, ranging from perfumes, bath bombs, soaps, rags,
potholders, and facemasks. After extensive research and analysis, we determined that the list stated
above would need a large startup capital, multitudes of apparatus, and extensive processes, all of
which are difficult to acquire as a fresh company. After reviewing our current capabilities, needs,
desired profits, costs, as well as probable options that are available, we decided to make something
that embodies us and what we believe in. We recalled the values we have as Filipino people, and how
we value the bonds we have with our families and friends. It is then that we decided to make our
version of a friendship bracelet, one made with wax thread and various assortment of emblems. It
was a product that we, as a company, believe will benefit the communities around us and provide a
profit. Numerous fashionable items are present in the market nowadays, and alongside them are the
existence of a multitude of trends, one of which is bracelets. Bracelets have been around as early as
5000 BCE in various countries such as China and Egypt, it was considered as an adornment and a
statement used to convey one’s status. Nowadays, people of all ages, youths, specifically, purchase
this kind of product to make themselves "in". We, the Crowy company, decided to adopt the trend
and that's how we came up with the idea of selling a friendship bracelet. A friendship bracelet is a
handmade bracelet woven out of thread wax. It is a decorative bracelet given by one person to
another as a symbol of friendship. This kind of bracelet won't stretch or break easily, making it
unique among the other bracelets. As a startup in such a large market, we decided to take a calculated
risk in a market that has a large consumer base, steady trends, and moderate competition and avoided
various options that already have established competitions that would be difficult to compete against,
such as the cosmetics industry that is filled with social media influencers, international
conglomerates, and pharmaceutical companies. As a team, we evaluated ourselves and concluded
that our skills and expertise are best suited for a venture that involves creativity, imagination,
resourcefulness, and passion. The bracelet accessory market perfectly fits our criteria, and we took
our chance. Our main focal point of business is those in Subic, especially the teenagers and young
adults, as they are the ones most likely to buy our products as a gift or present to their significant
others, valentines, M.U.s, and childhood crushes. We chose Subic since it is in the immediate vicinity
of our operations and has a significant amount of potential customers.

PRODUCT IDEA: The materials used in making a friendship bracelet are thread wax and magical
pendants and its base design is specifically based on a macramé knot. Therefore, this product is also a
waterproof bracelet based on the materials used. Since it is a handmade bracelet, each item is unique,
and the customers can pick from large choices of various colors and designs. Additionally, this
product can also be used as a gift for any occasion.

CUSTOMERS: The friendship bracelet is a unique piece of accessory that can be used by oneself as
a fashion item, or as a sentimental gift to someone they cherish. It is both affordable and stylish and
is a perfect product for the masses
OUR GROUP: As a product, the friendship bracelet is inexpensive to make and provides a large
probable profit in a market that has a large consumer base. It also provides us an opportunity to hone
our skills and crafts, as a team and as individuals, from the handiwork needed to weave each bracelet,
to the artistic vision to design new bracelets.
COMMUNITY: It provides a steady source of income for the local employees; it also gives a
chance to make an interesting product that can give rise to the fame of our community. It allows
locals to have a livelihood as well as a product that reminds us of our sentiments and values as
Filipinos.
PHILIPPINES: As bracelets continue to rise to fame and maintain its trend, it opens a lot of
opportunities for new startups, such as us, to exist, therefore providing job opportunities as well as
taxable revenue for the betterment of the country. It also allows people to develop useful livelihood
skills
