This indicates the income earned from sales in the initial months of the following
year. Together, these figures reflect the company's sales performance over the
specified time frame, providing insights into its revenue generation capabilities and
trends in consumer demand.
The income statement also shows that for the year 2025, expenses incurred
from March to December amounted to ₱817,836.00. These expenses represent the
costs associated with running the business during that period, including supplies,
marketing, start-up cost inccured from the month of March, and other operational
expenses necessary to support the company's day-to-day operations and growth
initiatives.
14
Moving on to the year 2026, expenses for the months of January to February
totaled ₱416,760.00. These expenses reflect the costs incurred in the initial months
of the following year to maintain the company's operations and support its ongoing
activities. Similar to the previous year, these expenses encompass various
operational costs essential for sustaining and growing the business.
By analyzing the expenses incurred over the specified time frames, the
income statement provides valuable insights into the company's cost structure,
spending patterns, and overall financial health, enabling stakeholders to assess its
efficiency in managing expenses and achieving profitability.
Lastly, the net income. In the income statement for the year 2025, the net income for
the period from March to December amounted to ₱216,564.00. This figure
represents the company's profitability during that period after accounting for all

generated more revenue than it spent on expenses, resulting in a profit.
Conversely, for the year 2026, the net income for the months of January to
February was -$209,880.00. A negative net income indicates that during this period,
the company incurred more expenses than it generated in revenue, resultingk in a

This cash flow outlines the movement of cash into and out of the company
starting from the month of March on year 2025 to the month of February on year
2026.
To project the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) monthly, we aggregated the costs
of raw materials and utilities used in production. Annually, our business will produce
20,160 units. Each item is ethically given a selling price that is reasonable as we
have determined the pricing of our products by adding the total cost of goods per unit
to the markup price (P = Cost of Goods per Unit + Markup). Our aim is to
manufacture 30 units of each product weekly. Next, we calculated the revenue by
multiplying the selling price by the target number of goods produced in a month (R =
16
Price × Units Sold). Additionally, we computed the profit by subtracting the cost of
goods sold from the total revenue (P = Total Revenue - Cost of Goods Sold). After
these calculations, we projected the potential profit for each product on a weekly,
monthly, and yearly basis.
Indeed, achieving a high number of units sold can significantly boost our
business's profitability. By setting a reasonable markup, owners can ensure a fair
return on their investment and generate substantial profits from their products.
Consistently increasing sales volume while maintaining a competitive pricing strategy
can lead to sustainable growth and success for the business.
The Stylistique plans to sell 1,440 units of each product every year, with a
maximum of 30 units per product produced weekly.
